The Hytera RD962 is the first digital/analog repeater suitable for outdoor use. Compact and lightweight, the RD962 can deployed quickly and carried in a backpack (optional), mounted on a wall, or installed in an equipment rack.

The device supports voice input and output simultaneously in digital mode which enables users to continuously record conversations if required, for example, in emergency situations

The GPS module enables emergency control rooms to monitor the location of a small radio network in real time if the repeater is being used as a mobile unit

IP67 rating for ingress protection ensures that the rugged RD962 remains dustproof and waterproof even in harsh conditions

The device is 2 inches high and weighs less than 7 pounds, including the 10 Ah battery

With indicators for the channel status, a button for channel settings and a connection for a hand microphone or a remote speaker microphone (optional) to use the repeater as a base station
